M4L instrument / Effect not visible

Hi Guys,

I bought Max4Live yesterday, installed the latest Max Version, have the latest Ableton Suite installed (8.2.1 on OSX), re-activated my version (it says in the prefs that max4live is included), but can't see the M4L instrument / Effect in the instrument-browser in Live... what am I missing / doin wrong? I already repaired my library, checked the lib-folders, there isn't any M4L-files... what else could I check before calling the support team?

sounds like the max live pack has not updated automatically for some reason.

go to:

Applications/Max5/support/LivePacks

...and run the Live Pack that you find there.

there is plenty there to be getting on with, but for the latest API stuff you need Live 8.2.2b6 and Max 5.1.8b. however these versions are due out soon i think so maybe just wait until they are released officially to save your upgrade hassles.

ok, great. thank you! will try this later on my studio mac. and they should add this workaround to the installation manual of max4live, I might not be the only one...
