Hi,
I can send midi messages so the next scene is selected. I can also select a different channel. I can also play the currently selected scene. But how do I configure it so that a certain midi message plays the currently selected clip (if you select a track and a scene, this defines one clip, at the intersection, right?)
Is this at all possible? Are there any other uses of selecting a track by midi, except that you are able to view it's effects easily that way?
Thanks.

I should say RTFM.
But, hit Ctrl-M and you will see a 'master' play button appear at the bottom of each track, assign that to a midi controller and it will play whatever clip is selected in that column. Alternatively, you can ctrl-M and assign any midi controller to play any clip by clicking on that clip and pressing your midi controller.

Thanks, I'll try that when I get home from work.timothyallan wrote:I should say RTFM.

And about reading the manual, if I had to read every manual for every piece of software that I use, I wouldn't have the time to actually use them
Plus I have concentration problems and have difficulties reading such a long document in a foreign language.
