bitching about negative people

my coworkers are complaining about how the new incentive/bonus program here at work sucks cuz of the changes being made by the company that bought us out.. they are complaining of getting bonuses of less than 10K and that they want to look for another job.. I say go for it so i don't have to hear you complain every freakin day. they need to realize that they have really good here. I've had jobs before where there was no bonuses and surely none of the perks that we get here.. they should just be greatful they have a job..

on that note, i should really stop complaining about ableton at times.. at the end of the day, ableton gives me more than enough to make music (i compare it to my first 4 track tape tascam) .

Now is not the time to be reconsidering a job change if you currently have one. You would have to be insane and/or retarded to quit any decent job where your even getting a freakin bonus. Hehehe... I'll refrain from the irony of the post title, and just say:

If people are thinking about leaving a job where they actually get a bonus right now, well... good luck with that.

We're getting a bonus, and a salary adjustment this year, and I'm shocked with that.
They have my loyalty for at least another year.

On the other hand, if I were younger, and single with no kids or a mortgage, AND I knew I had skills to move along, I might look around with or without a bonus.
When that was a true statement, I certainly did it.
Skills I got (I hope), but the other stuff...

Too many responsibilities these days though.

Actually depending on the field it’s usually easier to find a job when you already have a job. Even in this economy employers put a high value on somebody who is currently employed, in fact maybe even more so if so many people got laid off and you managed to keep a job.
