cool man, i think this is fkn inspirational. can i ask u 2 questions cos i'm on the same trip
how much midi sequencing do you do live? is it mostly like made up or triggered?
is there any communication between the keyboardist and the drummer (which one are you?!) like, i mean if keyboardist writes a part live, can drummer effect it or is it separate?
pm me if you prefer. very cool

first off, im the drummer, and im gonna answer question 2 first, as far as communication goes, we do not talk, we hardly even look at each other! we have 2 laptops midi synced so the audio from each is separate, but.... we have some network midi stuff going on so he can control some of the fx on my laptop, like if he wants to do a sweep of a high pass filter or redux or something over the master track from my macbook.
as far as sequencing goes, everything is done live, and i kinda just do whatever feels right, id say i play/loop live drums as much as i sequence drum machines. In the video i guess it is cut down to clips of me playing live, but the ratio is about 50/50 on average sets. There are some things i just cant sequence, and there are some things i just cant play.
