Stillwell stuff is just awesome. When I switched to a laptop, I got a load of Stillwell and Fabfilter stuff. While the UAD plugs are definitely special, these days you can get amazing results with minimum fuss and investment. That wasn't the case a few years ago, but times are changing.

Worth noting with UAD plugins is that you get an increase in latency.
