saving preset

is there a way to save midi mapping into plugin presets?
it's a pain to have to remap envelopes and whatnot every time I instantiate my instruments.
nevermind the automapping for novation and apc. Actually, I'm less concerned about default mappings for my controllers,
I'm talking more about customized midi maps saved into the plugin presets. Is this even possible?

You can do that with a device rack and map the midi controllers to the macro controls.
Downside: you got only 8 of them.

but you still have to map the macros to your controller every time you instantiate the preset..

EXACTLY! the mapping is stored in the set. I wonder if it had to be this way.
