still no love with the mpd16!

so i have tried everything, and akai tech won't write me back. my mpd pads just aren't sending a signal. what i am hoping is to have one of you kind souls who knows the mpd to give me a quick call, so i cn get this shit up and running. not too much fun without the midi control! send me an email if you are willing, with your number, and i will call you. thanks all. j

have you installed the akai pad utility program that comes on the cd with mpd16, and are you on a mac or pc?

seeing as i seem to be having the same problem, can you (or anyone else) tell me how to solve it?

(to recap, the computer recognises the mpd16, but live 2.02 doesn't.)
