Can anyone give me some tips when warping dancehall reggae music since the pattern is not standard like dance music? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Give me an example. I warp dancehall. What song are you trying to warp that you are having difficulty with?

for instance there is this song by Demarco - Nuh yes man friend. If i let Live do the warping. the songs dont blend. When I try the warping myself it's always off. I try to warp the downbeat to the start of a bar since dancehall patterns is all over the play but atleast the downbeat would be able to hit together

u may have to manuel match it, cos ableton may get confused with the offbeats. But it shouldnt be too hard as dancehall is still in 4/4.

Warp by snare hits, then fix your kicks.
