When using Simpler for drum sounds the release envelope is often not what it should sound like.
There should be some kind of slope control at least for the decay and release stages, so that the shape could be modulated from exponential (current) to linear to inverse exponential (for the lack of better word) shape.
Alternatively the envelope could be switched from ADSR to ARSR mode, ie. the first release stage falls to sustain level and then automatically (no note off needed) falls to zero using the last release stage.
Either way would allow drums to have more 'compressed' and 'fatter' sound.
Improved envelopes for Simpler, slope control or ARSR mode

Hell, do away with Simpler and MAKE SAMPLER FREE.
I own Sampler. I've already payed for it, but I don't care. I think Sampler should be bundled with Live, especially because users can make multis using racks, so by denying people the use of Sampler, you are not denying them functionality, you are just giving them extra, tedious work.
