midi cc range

I don't find anything in the manual about this either, so I put down my second question about midi control management: is it possible to set a defined midi cc range as a min. and max. value in which a certain controlled parameter has to modulate ?
For example, what should I do if I want to control a volume fader from -inf dB to -1.5 dB ?
I hope that the answer will not be: "do it from your controller"

On your midi mapping, you have min and max values. Set your max to -1.5 dB. That should be what you're looking for
