Live won't recognize my APC40

Post by mihai » Mon Apr 25, 2011 4:09 pm

i recently got an apc40 and i find it quite awesome. one issue i've had is live sporadically not recognizing it
and indifferent of what i do (reboot live, connect and disconnect apc) the only solution i've found is actually
restarting my computer. has anyone else had this problem?

- mac os 10.6.7
- live 8.2.2

Under the live's preferences go to the tab MIDI Sync. Selected under Control Surface the APC 40 do this also for the Input and Output. Should work though.

sounds like a bad USB cable.

on Mac you can freely plug and unplug the thing and it tracks (so I've read.) PCs are a different, irrelevant story.
