Need to Activate the db values in the Live mixer

hey guys,

i saw a lot of producer have this option enable but i dont know how i can enable them!

here is a picture what i mean:

i read out the manual/ checked all menus - i cant find anything!
(i had them 1 time as i had an old project - deleted all scenes and stuff and saved the emptied project - but the problem was i have latency problem then.)

i hope u guys can help me.

its easy, you just drag the window and it magically appears once the window is big enough

Hover your mouse pointer over the boundary line between the fader and the sends. It will change into a double arrow (at least under Win it does). Click and drag up. Dragging has a grid-like feel to it the hight of a slot/scene. Drag up two steps to show the desired fields, drag up further (up to ten steps) to get a really long fader.

This is one of the miracles in Abletons way of hiding such things and never mentioning in the manual.

It actually is mentioned in the manual. See ch. 14.1.1 - Session Mixer Features

hmm its really hard to read the whole manual - i only read the fx part and devices out.
but here such a nice community - thx for educating me a bit

now i feel a bit more confortable in this masterpiece of daw

Semantic search would be a great extra. Given the description of the TO he wouldn't have found matching strings.

hmm i asked a lot of pro trance producers - which are live user for a long time - but for some reasons nobody could tell me.
so it looks this function is a bit difficult to find ...

and a lot of ppl learning by doing i think ... so manual reading isnt something for everybody.
