Re: iPad
Last night’s episode of South Park was total crap aside from the Tyler Perry to black people jabs. The “moral” of the show which was comedy now being formulaic and predictable should have been a small part of the show, not the entire focus. Usually their episodes are very timely and topical. This seemed more like a personal attack and editorial by the writers against their industry.
Total letdown from the iPad season opener.

You don't take kindly to last sentences?
Re: iPad
Just for counter point, a couple things I DON'T like about the iPad 2 now that I've had it awhile:
- The stupid speaker is on the back. This is my biggest complaint, I have to cup my hand while holding it over the speaker to direct sound towards me. I don't always use headphones for normal video watching (like Ted Talks), so this is kind of frustrating. I can't believe apple couldn't think of a way to put the speaker on the front hidden somehow.
- Finger prints. It's inevitable, but the screen is a magnet for them and for some reason I'm one of those people who notices this instantly. I keep a nice micro-fibre in the studio to wipe it off real quick, but it's still kind of annoying.
- A side effect of the above, is that dragging on the screen is really variable based on how many finger prints and skin oils are there too. Especially in music apps, a nice clean screen has more resistance than a dirty sweaty one, so it's a catch 22. Not a huge deal, but it definitely makes performance gestures less repeatable day to day. My friends with drier skin than I have no idea what I'm talking about with this one.
- Some websites always assume that you are on a mobile device, and there's no way to force them back to regular. More an IOS safari issue I guess, but frustrating at times having to waste this nice big screen wit something formatted for a cell phone.
Minor stuff I know, but just sharing my thoughts about things that continue to annoy me. I still really like the iPad, but there's definitely areas for improvement.

But now you’re officially part of the spirit of this thread, bitching a lot about the iPad.
And really would it have killed you to use at least one

Airplay to your Mac

FUCK YA!
I had to reboot my iPad to get it to stream video though, just in case anybody else decides to cough up the $3.

There are a few web browsers on ipad that will let you set it to always load websites as if it were a desktop browser so you don't get the mobile version.Tarekith wrote:
