How do i Save a Song into one large complet file for backup?

Post by Mishyn » Mon May 09, 2011 7:04 pm

Hello,

I was wondering how i can save a song im working on into a large almost zip type file that will include every sample, midi, audio, vst ,ect pretty much everything the song uses. I want to save it on a back up drive, so if anything ever happened to my samples on my main computer the file will have everything that the track featured so there would be nothing missing when i reloaded it into live.

Thank you

"collect all and save" in the File menu. You'll have to bounce (freeze, then flatten) all your tracks that contain 3rd party plugins first though.

The manual explains it quite clearly. I think it has it's own section.
Live 7.0.18 | Axiom 61 | Launchpad | Homous | Nanokontrol | Saffire 6 | Ibanez Jazzmaster Bass | Biscuits
Soundcloud (solo stuff) | One Gear Go (my band)
