Hello all,
I've imported quite a few mp3s into ableton to DJ with, and the beat matching is usually pretty solid...
But with this one MP3 I have, "Blinded by the Lights" by the streets, it's a simple 4/4 beat, and it's electronic, so the timing never changes.
When I import the track into Ableton, the bars it sets up are WAYYYYY off... The first 4 drum beats of the song, which should be the first bar, are spread out over 1.6 bars. Warping this track to match the bars causes the mp3 to play way too fast or wayy to slow.
Is there a way to reset the grid so it actually matches the tune?
Thanks!
Wojo
Importing MP3 and the Bars are WAY off.

Sort of solves this myself...
I first deleted all warp markers, and then I moved the transients a bit so it snaps to the grid better.
I then had to change the BPM of the song drastically.
