How do i make an Impulse Backing Vocals-Preset?

Post by enphydolphographist » Sat May 14, 2011 1:40 pm

Howdy,

i am just wondering since i am quite newbie how to make an own backing vocals impulse-preset. (simmilar to a impulse drum-kit just with backing-vocals). I am not a good singer so i want to sing some ahhhs and ohhhhs and adjust them afterwards first with a simpler on the c-major scale. That i get for at least one octave the c, d, e, f, g, a and b. But i was just desperately failing, can someone give me a step-by-step instruction (please, i beg for it :) ) or show me a tutorial with something simmilar.
I also want to have not just one but several presets with those backing vocals with different types of decay and different keys. I failed because all this midi to audio transfering was way to complicated and then there was all this freezing and i didn't know how to make the de-freezed file back into a midi file and then i thought there i probably a simpler way and i put way too many audiofiles in my set. thx for any help.

alright, i am going to try out but for now i am going to watch some tv. if somebody else knows a whole instruction that'd be cool.

by the way, just another random question that just popped in my mind. is it okay to have often a cpu (i am german, dont know that word => the work of your computer in percentage on the upper right side) above 70 or even 80%. When are you guys starting to transfer it into an audio file and put it into a different set?
