Getting more than 8 Macro Knobs on a device
Getting more than 8 Macro Knobs on a device
Hey, I want to have more than 8 macroknobs on Maschine for automationpurposes, is there any chance to achieve this?
Currently I grouped Maschine and got 8 macroknobs, now I want to extend this by another 8.
Is this possible?

Don't use the rack macros. You only get 8. Just use the device parameters and configure the order you want the VST parameters to be in. That way you can use up to 128.

can I also configure the ranges in which they should reach?, like with the macros.
I would love to have more macros, is there really no other way?

No if you want to set their ranges, then you have to use macros. But for automation, do you really need to set ranges for all of them? You could use macros for some and just automate the parameters directly for the others.EpikureeR wrote:can I also configure the ranges in which they should reach?, like with the macros.

Just group your first group... you can get all the macros you want.... it will only automap to 8 at a time though

what about for non vsts that don't have the device paramaters configurable? For example, a m4l device or midi effect.. how can I set the order of the parameters and have more than 8?
