Electro House Help!

Just curious what are some techniques when producing fidgety, dirty, electro house.

With basslines cutting in and out, wobbling at different rates it's hard for me to even comprehend whats going on in the playing field. However, I love to create it and mess around with it.

ya, it can be hard to comprehend whats going on sometimes, i think the most important thing to think about is that not everything is playing at once in a track like that, but hen one part drops out, another comes in in its place. if you think of that it might help, cut out some parts of the bass, (or maybe the bass is what you have playing through all the time) but put other parts in the place of what you just cut out.

Thanks for the tips guys, I have found a few tutorials myself.

Seems people are giving this type of music a genre named "Complex Electro" or Complextro.
(Have never heard it before).

sidechain everything to the kick, everything... at inf ratio and about -25db, and learn about operator to get those metallic basslines, they are quite easy to achieve.
