Question from a newbie…

Hi

When i copy and past a piece of audio into the arrangement window, it seems to not sync up with the other loops anymore, but if i hit record then play it appears in the arrangement window in time!

How do i transfer what i have from the scene's to the arrangement window and still have it synced?

Are the audio in the arrangement window really snapped to the nearest bar (or whatever alignment you want)? If so, it is very strange.

it must just be a bug with my mac, i'v ejust tried it on another machine and works fine!

Sounds like snap isn't on in the arrange window, look at the box to the left of the padlock sign just below the key and midi buttons, this should show some bar/grid division ie 1/8, 2/1 etc depending how zoomed in you are. Make sure that this box is highlighted and your pasted sample has snapped to the appropriate grid and you should be golden.
