Live 8.2.2 + Firewire TC PowerCore Plugins = BlueScreen

Post by davidhughes » Wed May 18, 2011 8:41 pm

Hi there

Im using Live 8.2.2 on Windows 7 64bit, and Ive recently purchased a Firewire TC PowerCore.

When I drag a powercore plugin on to a channel, I get the dreaded bluescreen of death :(

Has anyone had any experience of this, and know how to fix it?

my spec:
Intel Core i5 QuadCore 760 @ 2.8Ghz
8Gb Ram
Saffire Pro 40 Firewire

Something wrong with the drivers. Didnt even know they had drivers for Win7/64.
Nothing to see here - move along!

Yea they do

Could this be a firewire bandwith thing?

How do I increase that? Is there any firewire cards you could recommend?

I currenty have both Saffire Pro and PowerCore going in to firewire ports on a card. Sometimes the powercore plugins disable on their own (?) and I was told this could be a bandwidth issue?
