Apogee Duet 2 and mixing.

Post by adamlieb » Sat May 21, 2011 7:37 pm

Hello.
I've received today the Apogee Duet 2.
The interface is amazing but is one "but".
Does anybody have an idea how to mix on headphones, I mean how to set up cue and master to hear at the same time on the headphones?

It has 4 outputs, but I'm not sure if the headphone output is on 1/2 or 3/4 or if you can switch that up but it seems like you should be able to send one pair to speakers and then monitor the second pair.

Hmmm.
Thanks any way. Seems I have to mix like in the good, old times when on dj's mixers weren't a option to mix on the headphones, cue and master.
Any way sounds great to me and I will keep it.

This is doable with the Duet 2 since it has 4 outputs. Open the Maestro 2 software and assign outputs 3-4 to the headphone out and you're set.
