MIDI Clips in Arrange View

Is there any way, other than dragging midi clips from session view or pressing the "record" button in arrangement view, to create a MIDI clip in arrangement view? There doesn't seem to be a simple "Create MIDI clip" option like there is in session view.

Click and drag in the midi track to highlight the section you want the clip in. Then hit ctrl+shift+m (or the apple equivalent).
