For the metalheads

Post by gerard » Tue May 01, 2007 2:28 pm

Yesterday I've stumbled upon an extreme metal drum loops cd. It's called Double Bass Mania vol.2.

Dear God, euh Satan, this rocks like hell. The name fits like a monk on a little girl as the double bass punches through the speakers. I dunno who was the session drummer but I've downloaded the demo sounds and played around with them in Live for the whole afternoon... it's AWESOME!
I already hear my drummer 8O crying when I give him demos for the new songs!

If you like metal you should definitely give it a try. For the others in this forum betamonkey also has many Loop cds for Jazz, Rock and so forth. I haven't demo-ed them though.

BTW, for 60s Zeppelin-esque britrock, I bought Brutal Beats a couple of years ago - VERY NICE!

there u go
Looks interesting, I was wondering about where to get just basic 4 -4 beats to get started with (I'm a total newb)

I'm into alternative rock, melodic metal and goth ... Any suggestions as to what BetaMonkey disc I should get ?? .. my tastes are somewhere between metal and rock.
