So being that automation in ableton can be a bit bothersome sometimes, Ive seen that people are using the utility to automate the volume on the tracks so they can make minor adjustments to volume without affecting the overall automation. overall a great idea, but utility doesnt go all the way to -inf...
Heres a real simple solution to this
Drag an empty audio effects rack, create a new chain and map the volume to macro and voila! problem solved
