The Bridge does scrub a Live set back and fourth? Just not clips.
I guess I'm just over the whole issue. Browsing clips from Live into Ms Pinky (a less accurate, and less featured DVS), gets lame pretty quick. Plus there are a few more steps you have to take to get there. Honestly it does nothing special, it has no legs up on the comp. To get it to do something unique, learning M4L is a must.
Routing Tracktor into Ableton offers much more, especially in the realm of stability.
I have not messed with the Bridge much, and at first I balked at the idea behind putting a Live Set on a Deck in Serato, and not "scratching clips." It's been a while now, and honestly I think the Abes had the right idea to begin with. Hosing Live inside Serato. THAT is unique.
Now I realize all the hubub about scratching clips with timecode is an overemphasized need, if you wanna scratch Audio in Live route Tracktor to it, WAH LA!
Pinky is fun but you dont see a bunch of people using all it's cool functionality for a reason.
