Crystal Castles Crimewave Chip Sound???

I'm trying to recreate the sound repeated throughout the video. I've figured out how to make the main melody, vocode, etc. It's the chip sound (almost a wobbling sound) between 0:00-0:17 that I'm having trouble figuring out.

Any tips on creating the sound? I don't want to sample. I want to recreate it. I have Magic 8bit; it's just a matter of what to do to make the sound using said synth. Thanks!

There's a free VST called SE64 http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1615.html where the default preset named Spooky Arp can be modified a bit to make it sound quite allot like that.
Change the Oscilator to Sawtooth and mess with the bitcrusher section then add some delay and reverb.

Look around for any SID chip emulators.
