Moving clips from session to arrangement view

Post by bkevinmar » Tue Apr 19, 2011 11:06 pm

I know it can be done just can't remember how....can someone tell me how to move multiple clips on one track in session view to separate tracks in arrangement view. E.G...i have 5 songs in one audio track in session and I want each song to be on a separate audio track in arragement view. I know you can do this by importing each one separately, but if my memory serves me correctly you can select all and use tab+ something else to shift them to arrangement on separate tracks. HELP!

There is a short cut. Anyone know it? You can highlight all the tracks in Session View and then drag and hold a key when you drop them in arrangement but I forget what it is.

Old post but I thought Id open it since I am trying to figure this out.

Oops Im sorry I was referring to the original post so that the clips fall in different channels instead of all on the same one. Not a key to get to the other view. A shortcut to get the clips to line up on different channels instead of all in a row on one.

I should have explained better sorry.

I've never heard of any shortcut that does what you are describing. Neither has the manual, I'm afraid.
