Live Lite 8 Question

I have Lite 8 and I use a Line 6 POD UX1 with POD Farm to record. I want to use the thing to record drums and bass at the same time but with each on a separate track. So, I've mic'd the drums up through the XLR input and I've plugged the bass in direct through the instrument jack. I've set POD Farm so that it is accepting the signal from both inputs. How do I set Lite 8 so that bass goes to one track and drums to the other?

In your Live audio preferences, make sure you select your POD as audio input device and enable all the inputs (directly underneath the dropdown menus).

Then create two audio tracks and choose "audio from" as "ext. in" for both of them. On each track, choose the respective input channel right underneath the "audio from" menu. 1 for the bass, and 2 for the drums, or the other way around..
