Hi,
I've just purchased ableton live intro. I'm going to run it on my MacBook which is plenty fast enough but starting to get low on hard drive space. I have an external hard drive and a copy of OS X Snow leopard 10.6.3. If I was to load snow leopard on to the external hard drive and then install ableton on to that operating system would it work ok? Or would I be better off updating the operating system on my MacBook, loading the ableton application on to the MacBook and saving the content, loops etc on the external hard drive. If the second option is preferable is it easy to split the app and the content on installation?
Any advice would be really welcome
