Hi gang,
I'm trying to record with the effects in Absynth 5 within Ableton, but I can't find how to record.
I know how to do it if i open Absynth 5 as a stand alone without ableton but somehow I can't make it work when I open it as an audio plug-in within Ableton.
Or can it not be done?
Many thanks, J

you need to 'hold' a key in absynth...
for the audio to go through..
also need to choose the audio input..
in the modules section

hi there,
Thanks for your response.
Not sure I follow you about holding a key? You mean on my keboard?
But it then plays a sound...
My Audio and Midi preferences are set properly, which I did when I opened it as a stand alone.
I'm sorry, this is probably really simple!
Thanks anyway

first off..
you need to drag in absynthfx vst to say ..
an audio track
that runs audio..
or a midi instrument..
and for start look for the effects presets folder

absynth is awesome
Re: Recording Absynth 5's live audio effects in Ableton
indeed...
I just went from A4 to A5...simply awesome...
the new 'preset mutator' and the new 'Aetherizer' fx are simply amazing..
if I had to choose one soft-synth... this would be it !
the guy who birthed this beast deserves a Nobel prize at least..
