Which plucks are you talking about in Levels? The one's in the beginning or the stabs in the drop?
Re: avicii pluck help please!
the synth sound at the drop of levels and the sound at 1:31 in his edit of blessed by Tom Hangs Feat.Shermanology?
could you give me a hand? much appreciated
thanks for your time

@Pluck Sound
you will learn NOTHING when someone gives you a screenshot or something
i don´t know how to create the sound but in levels he uses a lot of "glide" and 16th notes. i found midi tracks from both songs but the arp wasn´t in there ;/

Re: avicii pluck help please!
Here is my best guess....hopefully it helps at least a little bit.
I'd def start with a saw wave, too. Also, with these types of more epic sounding synths I may throw in another oscillator and tune it down an octave to make the punch at the beginning of the note a little bigger. To get that punch, tweak the ADSR controlling the amp of your synth so it has a faster attack and a faster decay down to the sustain level. To get that fatter sound the synth has, increase the voices of the note and then detune it a little bit. Then, add a ton of reverb. Screw with these parameters until you get something you like.
As for what's going on in the song. He has at least two synths going in harmony--lower and higher. To me, it sounds like the higher synth has some more reverb on it than the lower synth and possibly some added noise.
Hope this was helpful....I'd rather make my own sounds than get something like Nexus, but I guess you can always resample. Nexus does have some good sounds like these from the very little I've seen of it so it may be worth checking out.
