What are the differences between live 8.2.2 and Live 8.1.3?

Post by RD444 » Wed Jun 15, 2011 9:42 pm

What are the differences between live 8.2.2 and Live 8.1.3?

I may have to downgrade to get automap to function correctly without 'jerky automation'

But what are the differences between live 8.2.2 and Live 8.1.3?

Many Thanks

How did you figure this out? I was reading your other posts about this issue because I'm experiencing the same thing. I don't know what the difference is but I suppose there has to be one in order for Abes to update no?

Anywhoo, let me know if this solves it. Although I figure a downgrade is a silly way to solve a new problem, I'm no expert..

:)

Hi

Thanks for replying. its been driving me mad

I've still not received confirmation from Ableton that this is a bug.

Can you contact tech support too, so they start to listen.

FACTS
the problem starts with 8.1.4
it doesn't happen with the plug turned OFF
it happens less with huge latency seeting on the audio card

Keep me posted if you get anything

this is the only (afte waiting 3 days) reply i had

Thank you for contacting Ableton.

Since you're using Automap and even a beta version of it we'd suggest you contact Novation about the issue as it's something that needs to sorted out on their end.

You could try to download their latest version 3.7.4 and see if this fixes the issue:

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

Best,

SO i tried every version of automap, and replied to Madeleine, but as yet no response.

Hi

A few people are comming forward experiencing these problems

If you are using Live on your 'own machine'.

Please create a status report and send it to live

ie

open a project
move the automation with automap
go to create status report in the menu

send it to to [email protected]

along with this information

the problem starts with 8.1.4
it doesn't happen with the plug turned OFF
it happens less with huge latency seeting on the audio card

They are responding but so far they have not accepted that it is a bug
