Midi Mapping / left, right, up, down, return

Post by dgerbs » Mon Apr 24, 2006 8:37 pm

I'm using Live 4.1

I mainly launch clips slots and just got a Korg padKontrol. Is it possible to setup Midi mapping so I can use the pads as Arrow Up, Arrow Down, Arrow Left, Arrow Right & Return. This would allow me to pick and choose any clip and launch it from my PadKontrol.

Is there a way to Midi Map to a Keystroke?

Ideally, the above is what I'm looking to accomplish.

A workaround I found so far is to Midi Map Scene Up, Scene Down but I have not found the Midi Map for Track Left, Track Right or Enter/Launch.

I appreciate it greatly for any help.

Thanks,

Dan

mac or pc?

Name-dropping: Charlie Roberts' MidiStroke , Bome's Midi Translator and the mother-load: "Mackie Control Emulation". Google away!
mbp 2.66, osx 10.6.8, 8GB ram.

Use the clip launch buttons just above the signal routing boxes, they only appear on the screen when MIDI learn is activated. Then use the scene up/down or scroll buttons.

No external programs needed.
