Which software to create mp3 on mac?

I just got a Mac, and I find it complicated to do mp3, especially after working with dbpoweramp on a PC (right click on the file, and you have an mp3, just like you would zip)

Is there such a software for mac? ( a one step mp3 creator?)

Back on topic, on pc, is there a difference in compression quality between dbpoweramp and itunes?? I let bandcamp.com do the compression for me last time I realesed an album but maybe I can do better here!?

Max. iTunes doesn't use the LAME encoder by default, which is considered one of the better MP3 conversion algorithms.

I thought there would be a MAC app that would do right click mp3
