complex pro as default warp mode

Post by mattverzola » Tue Jun 21, 2011 4:01 pm

Would like the option for Complex Pro as one of the default Warp Modes. Thx!

There must have been a reason behind them not allowing this, like too much cpu usage or something. Which is still lame though.

lame lame lame, seriously?

You got complex available for default warp mode.
Is it too annoying for you to set it manually with Complex Pro?

Yeah, when I'm dragging in 10 stems for a remix it is annoying, actually. Complex sounds phasey compared to pro, don't know if you noticed that. If it's such a non-issue why have a default warp mode at all?

Complex is really heavy on cpu. I easily understand why it's not available by default.

100 "stems" for a remix is annoying.
10 is piece of cake.

Select every clip in session view and change global warp mode into the clip(s) window.
One clic and all clips turn into complex PRO.

Even with 100 stems!!!!

Voilà why it's not such a non-issue

They should have it as an option still though. Ya it's easy to change multiple clips to complex pro mode but it's an extremely simple tweak they could make available to save us time. Little things like that add up and take away from the creative process. The way I see it, the less stuff like that you have to do, the quicker you can get to making music.
