Anyone use Pro Tools 8?
Just getting my head around the midi editor in PT8 after using Live as my main DAW. Wondering if there's a way of only showing the notes in use like in Live, rather than the whole piano roll?

Yeah, looks like it. Damn.
Such an obvious feature it would seem. But maybe I've just been spoiled by Live's intuitive workflow. It's hard making the switch, but I have to do it for a new project. Still, on the audio side of things, the track comping & loop recording from alternative takes is amazing in PT8.
