CNBC will feature Steve Jobs as the subject of it's first TITANS documentary series.

In my household watching that will be akin to visiting Mecca or the Wailing Wall.

:x
I just came on here to post that. :P :x

I should have a single focus when my unemployment begins: Get a job at the Apple main campus within the next year. :x
do it. considering where you live... that's a somewhat realistic and quite possibly a very acheivable goal.

seriously. this is me ---> :|

beats!!

Well I do know a felon straight out of prison who got a job at Apple indirectly. He works for another company subcontracted to wire up their buildings. I really should get back in touch with that guy, not so much for his connection to Apple but more so for being able to transcend his past and move forward with his life in a positive way. The dude was also going to school and in a band, and just as importantly completely sober. There’d be a lot of wisdom there.

Shit, I would totally take a low level job at Apple if it got my foot in the door. The only thing I wouldn’t do is get a job at an Apple retail store because those people even freak me out. :x

On a side note if you go to an Apple store and mention knowledge of music software even if it’s not Logic or Garageband the employee gets really excited and wants to talk shop. It’s like they feel they can briefly step out of their “all things Apple at all times” mantra and just be a human being with other interests and hobbies.

It will be a new native app called “I Know, Right?”

It will be like twitter but even more elegantly simple because the only thing you will be able to share with the world and respond back with will be :x

Apple won a patent(s?) on how the touch screen functions on the iPhone. Sounds like they might have filed before the iPhone even came out but it took this long to grant. This means Apple can charge licensing to any third party that uses similar functionality…which is every Android phone and possibly Windows phones.

This has probably been said on here before but deserves repeating. STREAMING VIDEO ON THE IPAD IS SHIT! :x Not on all apps, but on most. I sometimes think it might be general speed problems with my connection but I'll go and check out the same video on my computer and it plays fine. In fact I could watch the same video 5 times in a row and look over at my iPad and it's still buffering the first attempt. :x

Yes.

YouTube is fucking PAINFUL - as is any other streaming. But I'm trying to watch YouTube more than anything else and it's mindnumbingly slow.

OMG The Steve Jobs story on CNBC is awesome and I'm only half way through. But it's quite apparent it deserves it's own series. Multi season. :x

Exactly. And WOZ!? OMFG. How that fat bastard doesn't have his own reality show I'll never know. I could watch that guy week in and week out waxing poetic on anything from the interesting use of food dyes to the nature of creativity found in eastern New Guinea tribeswomen.

Oh, and if you haven't read Inside Steve's Brain you are not a complete man.

It's easily in my top 10 best and vital reads. Fucking great book about the unrelenting pursuit of excellence.

I think Woz on a t-shirt would be more successful than Che.

Seriously there is a lot of interesting history there that needs to be told. Soon as they hit the iPod they just zipped everything along. Did ya notice how portly Steve was during the iTunes store announcement? :P :x

I went to the Apple jobs page (jobs, not Jobs) and possibly unsurprisingly you submit your resume using your Apple ID 8O

I don't know if they'll connect the dots but if they do they'll see that whatever they pay me they'd be getting a lot of that money back. :P

I saw it too. The most profound observation is how they mentioned that his vision and the resulting products have changed human culture. 8O

I’m still undecided if Apple products improved my life or made me docile with the distraction awesomeness.

It’s like claiming you used to be able to count your true friends on one hand and then you joined facebook and now you’d have to hire 6 buses to fit them all.
