MPK Mini from Akai and Ableton Live

Hi,
I'm new here and on Ableton. I just bought an Akai MPK Mini. and i tried to make it work with Ableton (I'm on PC)
I tried to set it up on Ableotn , but i can't make it work. Ableton find in "Preferences/Midi-sync" the akai, but still don't work.
Somene could help me find out how to set it up on Live

did you put it on the 'on' position in the preferences ???
did you highlight the monitor button ????
