Help with Video

Hi guys,

Was looking for some advice.

Just having my first experience with doing sound deign for an art installation/projection and LOVING IT but 1 problem though! Live keeps crashing when I'm using video in an audio track, I get the following eror whenever I try and use a clip of video in the arrangement....

"a serious error has occured live will shut down after this dialogue box closes"

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

using PC, Vista
Live 8.1.4
file of video ext is mov

I also have this issue in Live & MAX for Live. I've got no reply from Ableton after sending a few crashlogs. For me it seems Quicktime related, if the video has a different codec, Live crashes.

Live with Jitter has the potential to offer some unique video editing / VJ'ing options. If you don't like Live's video capabilities, just don't use them.
