I sync Ableton Live to Traktor Pro 2 via MIDI clock on the Mac OS IAC bus for performances. Other times I may sometimes put in a tempo change through automation. Whenever either situation occurs, the audio "skips" or "stutters." It has similar artifacts to having your audio buffer too low. However, the errors occur with any buffer size. Live stutters constantly if it is slaved to External Traktor sync. It's unusable. I have to turn external sync off and enter tempo changes manually in real time, which never ends up with an accurately-aligned downbeat.
Has anyone else had similar symptoms? Any suggestions?
