EDIT: might wanna add I don't know anything about headphones, but I assume there must be different types of headphones, specifically for DJ'ing or listening, but I would like a pair that's suited for both, if possible.

I actually own both. VERY comparable. What sets the TMA-1's apart for me is their durability, you can literally bend them and throw anything at them, and they hold up very well.
