Launchpad/ableton - stuck on the master's device chain

Hi

I just recently bought a launchpad and am having some problems when it is connected with live. Everything is working fine except during working in live the view will switch to the master's device chain (effects) and I won't be able to click away from this anywhere in live, it literally gets stuck there. I can't edit loops or select any other track. However, when I disconnect the launchpad this problem goes away.

Is this a known error? Is there anything I can do to resolve it?

Check your midi mappings to see if youve inadvertantly mapped something to that device that's making it jump back there constantly?
