Multiple Waveforms for DJing with M4L?
Hi folks,
Forgive me if this question has been asked before...tried multiple searches but didn't find anything current. Found this...
http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php? ... 2&start=15
but yeah not current.
Anyways - that thread pretty much has it summed up. I want to see two waveforms at once...and don't mind giving up the horizontal real estate at the bottom to do so. It seems extremely simple to me...I have two decks (more would be nice, but for DJing I rarely use more than two decks and would be ok with just two for this purpose), and I see the waveform of whatever clip is playing in either deck.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi There,
You don't need M4l to do this, simply go to the live install within your library and duplicate it, leave it within the Live 8.2.2 folder and open a second instance of Ableton...
Voila Dual Waveforms....
Cheers

That seems like an extremely inconvenient workaround though doesn't it?
I mean, I can't have my APC triggering both of them can I?

Well it's a workaround, you need two controllers.... Live's unlikely to give you a specific DJ focused edition so you gotta work with what ya got!
