All the info can be found here: http://timo-maas-remix.heroku.com/

Not directed at the OP, but if someone knows enough about electronic music production to win a remix competition, why would they want a 6 month course on electronic music production? I'm guessing most of the content would just be review.

It always makes me laugh with these competitions:

"Hey producers! Make a remix with your production software, to win production software."

It is kinda crazy that someone that's going to do a winning remix is going to need to go on a 6 month course of basic stuff.

A prize that would be more useful would be £2500's worth of professional studio time getting some of your work properly mastered for release.

Might enter for the chance of some new hardware though :)

Do you JUST have to use the parts from the song or can you use any other libraries you have of drums etc or add your own synth parts to add a bit more to it all?

Absolutely. I bet you could show Timo a thing or two about production.

Don't want the prizes, but I'll enter in someone else's name for 3898 GBP.
