I wish there was a scope behind the LIVE EQ

are there any similar vst plugins but with the scope behind?

The bigger the project the more out of time it will be.

+1 fabfilter pro-q
smart interface, great sound, linear phase options.. best (surgical) EQ in town! :)
as much as i love ableton, the most important mixing tool (eq-eight) sounds poor and in my opinion it's impossible to create a transparent, professional mixdown with it. so the pro-q is gonna be an eye opener
just my two cents...

how resource intense is fabpro? will it hog too much power if I throw it on all of my tracks?

i don't know your configuration, but it is quite light on CPU.. maybe a bit more than ableton's own, but still very reasonable.
i think fabfilter is offering 30day fully functional demo versions, so just give it a go! ;)
