APC40+APC20 Combination Mode Issue
I use an APC40 and an APC20 in Combination mode and sometimes when I open sets the grids switch with the 40 being on the left and the 20 on the right. I can easily fix this by going into MIDI preferences and turning the APC40 off and then back on again. I was wondering what might be causing this problem and how it might be fixed.

By default, the first mentioned controller in the pref list is the one on the left.

Not always. Sometimes the APC40 loads after theAPC20, so the layout is interchanged.skatr2 wrote:By default, the first mentioned controller in the pref list is the one on the left.
The only workaround I found "open Pref, remove Remote Controller APC20, add it again and then it works".
Sometimes it interchanges midst a session, eg when a new (virtual AU) midi device is started.
This can be a performance killer.
