I've got to agree, and then some!

The new fx are REALLY top notch too, i always wanted Ableton to make a distorter/saturator cos I thought they'd do a nice job. I wasn't wrong!

Well done Ableton, you've just blown ALL of the competion (as if there was any) clean out of the water, again.

Vivre la revolution!

after spending only a couple of hours with 5 I am totaly blown away. The update is over the top. I was up and mixing tracks on the fly as many as 4 mp'3 at a time with fx and eq's with no major problems. The new fx eg the arp and the repeater are fantastic and have great potential on there own or when used with the other midi fx already included in 4. The saturator is great to have indeed. I have not dug into the VST or production side of things yet but it is nice to see lfo on simpler. I may start using it more now. I think the updates are fantastic. So much so that I think that i will sell one of my 1200's. After even an hour spining with this there is little to thinnk about. What i would miss in my little scratches and backcueing can be made up for in the HUNDREDS of other ways in wich live opens up. besides I could still use vinyl side by side or even just use dj decks at the same time. you get the idea.

FANTASTIC!

It's great that you now can assign an external MIDI button to Sample Transpose! But it seems as it does only work for the channel selected (in the Session View)? Has anyone found out how to map a couple of midi kknobs to different samples (Clips) Transpose function on different channels?

BTW - this is an awesome upgrade! Thank you!
