Recently having problems with my DX7 + Gaia sh01...
it appears to be some sort of routing issue - If i play my track in ableton i can hear sounds from both synths.
Then after exporting the track... both parts are not there...
I'm using a motu ultralite - with inputting running into 3/4 5/6 for each synth.
Its very confusing because in ableton i can hear both inputs... (I have a midi/audio channel for each)
But after export... i can hear everything but the 2 synths.
Can anyone help.. i have cuemix fx also installed.
thanks

Re: Hardware & ableton
Did you record the audio from what the DX7 and the SH-01 were playing into Ableton?
Re: Hardware & ableton
No the audio is just running through (I've switched the channels to orange)
So the audio has been recorded as such but the midi is triggering the audio to play.
Wanted to do it this way so later on in the track i can record automation changes on the synths.
Do i need to record the audio first because exporting the track? Or will it not export the audio being trigger from the midi channel.

Yes, before exporting a track you need to record all the external sounds on audio tracks you want include to the project.Zade wrote: Do i need to record the audio first because exporting the track? Or will it not export the audio being trigger from the midi channel.
