ffs. With all the special FX it runs it was actually starting to bring my machine to it's knees. Turned off all that bloat and...whoa...vast improvement.
Right click on Computer.
Select Properties
Select Advanced System Settings
Select Advanced
Under Performance select Settings
Turn off everything but show thumbnails and smooth edges of screen fonts
Be amazed at the VAST improvement in overall speed.
Now if I can just figure out how in the fuck to prevent Win7 from asking me 50 fucking times if I want to overwrite something or not.

TRUE STORY: Under the last employer I was a bit concerned about my frequency on this forum at work, but I realized with the thousands upon thousands of employees they probably didn't have the time to monitor employees unless given a good reason.
So today with our new systems up under the new employer I decided to just see if I would have access to this forum. While in town I decided to post this:

BUT just when I was about to hit submit some IT guy in cyberspace without warning or permission started remotely controlling my computer.
He needed to make some changes to my email and called about 10 seconds after he started controlling it to let me know what's up, didn't mention anything about what I had up, but still FUCK!!
I talked to one of the managers about internet usage and he said as long as people are doing what they are supposed to be doing, there's no complaints, and money is coming in they really aren't too concerned about what you are doing on the computer within reason.
