sup peeps,
last time i asked for advice for new gear, i got great feedback, so i think im just gonna trust you guys again.
This time im wanting a mic for mostly vocals (female and male) but also maybe some other misc sounds. im ok with compromises (ie can do mellow and harsh, but medium quality) id rather something that has a more general and broad feel than something good at just a specific thing. im lookin at spending anywhere from 200 to 350 (maybs even 400 if its got what i want). ive got some ideas but id like to see what you guys say. i was thinking a large diaphragm condenser...???
much obliged.

An audio dork buddy of mine says he gets more use out of a Rode NT1000 than any other mic in his studio.
